3rd March Trip to see Joseph

Hello

Once more the bus is booked, the tickets are ordered. All we need is people to join us.

It is a Saturday afternoon performance. The lead is Keith Jack who was second in the t.v.show behind Lee Mead. We have a discount on the price of our best in the house tickets so its down to £23.80 per person. Those of us who know the  Show still love it no matter how many times we watch it.

Do you remember a few years ago we performed it in the Church with Pete Lingard directing? Even Wilf our Vicar at the time took part, great fun.

The bus is a 49 seater so the more folks who come the cheaper transport will be. If you would like to comme please give me a ring

Shelagh M 01490412273 or 07702668103 if you leave a message please chase me as I am not good at picking up messages

I have to pay the bill the second week in Feb so if you can come that is when I would like the ticket money.

It is filling up quite quickly so please ring and do not miss the event.

Take care

Shelagh

Gardener Lou

Lou is our volunteer gardener and has taken on the rather large task of looking after the graveyard at St Collen’s.

Lou in the sun!

Her friendly, positive chat and her hard work in the yard are being noted. The work she has done clearing one of the flower beds gave the children a space to build a sculpture of the cross & the tomb on Easter Sunday.

Since Lou started in March as well as clearing flower beds she has cleared a large amount of growth completely obscuring graves.  We can’t work out how many loads of refuse she has created.  It has kept Andrew pretty busy taking stuff to the recycling dump!  And our poor compost bin doesn’t know what has hit it!

Nine things about Lou

  • Nick name : Robocop (since I broke my leg!)
  • Most likely to say “About these expensive tools…”
  • Tea or Coffee? Coffee
  • Funniest thing about St Collen’s?  Matt’s Eejit t-shirt
  • Do you like hymns? I don’t mind them.
  • Favourite food : Steak
  • Hobbies : Boxing, hiking, walking & fishing
  • What do you do when not at church? I am a Community Safety Analyst with North Wales Police.
  • Favourite place in Llangollen?  My home!

Keeping the website current

This website is a great way to promote what we do in our Churches and Hall.  Currently Andrew and I are the two adding information about events, services and things that happen with us.

If you are registered here then you have been given the ability to create posts and respond to other peoples posts.  We would love this website to have more creation from everyone we know.  Also, what would also great would be great for everyone to chip in to what other people post.  Share your thoughts with all.

If you would like some help with your first post then give me a call at the Community Hall (01978 861768)
